These are some links i used in my lesson plan to show students.
one blog created by me having all the procedure for them to read and necessary sources to know about computers is required.
students need to create their own blogs and post the information they gathered from the internet.
i have prepared some work sheets in my blog having all the questions containing about the minimum requirements to know about the hardware of computer.
students in my class have access to that and fill it and post it to me for grading, it helps me to know how far students know in my class.
after that they need to practice in the class or at their home assembling the parts in the computer and prepare a report about their work.

post 2

In general, every student has an idea how to use the computer for their educational purpose or for entertainment. But only few of them know about the hardware of the computer and details of the hardware.
when it comes to which grade this lesson plan works I did not have any teaching experience but as a student, I though this lesson plan will work for 9th grade students and it is easy for them to understand.
My lesson plan allows students to know about the hardware of the computer and by the end of lesson plan they will be to assemble their own computer.

Looking at this video helps students to know the basic things about the internal structure of the parts in the computer.
